Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s directive to speed up construction works in Islamabad

(Owais Kayani) Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s surprise visit to F8 Exchange Chowk Interchange and Sarina Chowk Interchange projects, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reviewed the progress of the construction works on both mega projects and directed them to be completed soon.

Interior Minister inspected the ongoing construction activities on F8 Exchange Chowk flyover and underpasses of Sarina Chowk Interchange. Interior Minister also inspected the complete underpass of F8 Exchange Chowk Interchange in a record period of 42 days. Mohsin Naqvi gave orders for horticulture around the underpass.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi directed to ensure the completion of the projects within the deadline, said that for the first time in the history of Pakistan, the underpass has been completed in a period of 42 days, work on both projects should be continued in 3 shifts, night shift. I directed to deploy additional work force while also congratulated the work force.

The Interior Minister said that the speed of the construction work should be accelerated in the night shift, both the projects have to be completed within the stipulated period, the completion of these projects will relieve the citizens from the trouble of traffic jam, he said that in Sarina Hotel A plan should also be arranged for the entry so that both guests and passengers can be saved from unnecessary hassle. Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon and the contractors informed the Interior Minister about the progress on both the projects, said in the briefing that the work on all the parts of the project is going on all the time, both the projects will be completed in record time.
