Coimbatore: In the international yoga competition held in Delhi, students from Coimbatore won 18 medals. Under the auspices of the Universal Yogasana Sport Federation, an international yoga competition for the ‘World Yoga Championship 2022’ was held in Delhi. In this, participants from countries including India, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, USA participated. , more than 300 yoga practitioners participated. Competitions were held for the ages of six to 60 plus. In this, traditional yoga, artistic and rhythmic competitions were held. In this competition, 17 people from Yova Yoga Academy, Coimbatore participated and won 18 medals. In the Under-20 category, Vaishnavi won the Champion of Champions title.

The students who returned to Coimbatore after winning the medals were given an enthusiastic welcome at the railway station.
