After the crash of a light aircraft near the village of Kalinka in the Khabarovsk Territory, a criminal case was initiated under Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety rules and transport operation). Three versions of the accident are being worked out, the Far Eastern Transport Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) reported. The death toll has increased to two.

“The Sierra P2002 plane crashed in the morning on the territory of the Kalinka landing site. According to preliminary information, there were two people on board the ship, one of whom died as a result of the aviation incident, the other survived, ”the website of the ICR department reported. The versions include piloting error, technical malfunctions of the vessel and unfavorable weather conditions.

The regional health ministry reported that a 40-year-old woman was injured. She has both legs fractured and is in serious condition. Later, the department said that the victim had died.

According to REN TV and LifeShot, Tatyana Novikovskaya, a flight instructor and president of the Federation of Aviation Sports of the Far East, died in the hospital. She had over 5,000 flight hours. She trained novice pilots, today there was a familiarization flight. The name of the second victim was not reported.
