He was our state guest and he was murdered by Israel in our country. He said, ‘According to our Constitution, we have to deal with such issues with a counter reaction.’
The ambassador also made it clear that the missile attack was not meant to kill Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah. He said, ‘Our retaliation against Israel was for the killing of Ismail Haniya. Not for Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah. Hezbollah can take care of itself.
Iranian Supreme Leader’s warning
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Friday praised his country’s latest missile attack on Israel and said it was ready to do so again if necessary. This information was given in the news of government television. Khamenei, appearing as a leader during Friday prayers for the first time in five years, described the missile attack as a “brilliant” act by Iran’s armed forces.
