Today, Friday, Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi agreed with his Turkish counterpart, Abdulkadir Oraloglu, to open offices to follow up on the work of implementing the development road in both Baghdad and Ankara.

A statement from the ministry, received by the (INA), stated that “the two ministers agreed to open offices to follow up on the work of implementing the development road in both Baghdad and Ankara,” noting that “Al-Saadawi confirmed that international companies are anticipating promising investment opportunities in the development road project, and that Iraq is serious.” In fulfilling all project requirements.

He pointed out that “the Turkish Minister of Transport appreciated Al-Saadawi’s initiatives in the air transport sector between the two countries,” calling on “Iraq to increase the number of Turkish flights to Iraq.”

He continued, “Al-Saadawi asked the Turkish side to facilitate the procedures for granting visas to Iraqis and to open visa-granting offices at airports.”

Today, Friday, Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibes Al-Saadawi, discussed with his Turkish counterpart the technical details of the development road project.

The Iraqi embassy in Ankara stated in a statement received by the (INA) that “Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi met his Turkish counterpart Abdulqadir Oraloglu in Ankara, and discussed with him the technical details of the development road project.”

The statement added, “The two sides reviewed the project’s completion rates.”
