Today, Tuesday, the Meteorology Authority announced details of the weather condition in the country for the next four days, while it expected thunderstorms and a drop in temperatures.
A statement from the authority – received by the (INA) – stated that “the weather for tomorrow, Wednesday, will be partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of scattered light rain in the afternoon in the western parts of the country, and temperatures in general are similar to the previous day,” indicating, “ The maximum temperatures will be in Baghdad, Holy Karbala, Diwaniyah, Babylon, Diyala, and Najaf Al-Ashraf 28, Maysan, Basra, Muthanna, Dhi Qar and Wasit 29, Dohuk and Sulaymaniyah 25, and Nineveh, Kirkuk, Salah al-Din and Erbil 26.
The statement added, “Thursday’s weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain, especially in the southern parts of the country, and temperatures in general will be similar to the previous day.”
He stated, “Next Friday, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with light to moderate rain showers, sometimes thundery, and temperatures will drop slightly throughout the country.”
He continued, “The weather forecast for the country for next Saturday is that the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with thundershowers that will become more heavy at night in the central and northern regions. Temperatures will drop slightly in the northern region, and will be similar to the previous day in the central and southern regions.”
