The head of the supreme Judicial Council,Judge Faiq Zaidan,confirmed today,Sunday,that the Iraqi position regarding developments in the situation in syria should be in accordance with the principle of “Iraq first.”
A statement by the Supreme Judicial Council – received by the (INA) – stated that “Judge Zidane participated in the meeting of the State Administration Coalition in Baghdad Palace to discuss the developments of events in Syria and their security and political repercussions on the security and stability of Iraq and the entire region, and to follow up on the conditions of Iraqi nationals in Syria and the necessity of securing the return Safe for anyone who wants it.”
Zaidan stressed - according to the statement – that “the Iraqi position on developments in the situation in Syria will be in accordance with the principle of ‘Iraq first.'”
