New Delhi: The world is once again in a state of anxiety after Chinese scientists warned of a new variant of the corona virus, Nyokov. The Russian news agency TASS quoted the World Health Organization as saying that more research was needed on how dangerous Niokov could be to humans.

The World Health Organization (WHO) says a new strain of the corona virus is increasingly found in animals. Further studies are being conducted in collaboration with the World Health Organization (OIE), the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and the UN Environment Program (UNEP).

Scientists in Wuhan have warned of a new variant of the corona virus. The warning was issued about the Niokov virus, which is currently spreading in South Africa. The new variant is associated with Middle East respiratory syndrome MERS-COV.

Russia’s news agency Sputnik reports that the Niokov virus, first detected in bats in South Africa, has a high prevalence and mortality rate. Due to the high mortality rate of MERS-CoV (one-third of all cases of infection) and the high rate of transmission of the current SARS-CoV-2 corona virus, current studies indicate that NeoCoV cannot be cured using human-produced antibodies or protein molecules.
