Is the call center busy? The company that will shake the Israeli market

The global telephone service giant Webhelp is entering Israel and will recruit 500 employees. The operations in Israel will be established and managed by Einat Binyamini, who established and managed the operations of Golan Telecom

The global Webhelp company, the number one player in Europe in the management of call centers and among the four largest in the world in its field, is entering the Israeli market for the first time and is establishing an activity in Israel that according to its plans will employ 500 people within a year. The Israeli branch will be managed by Einat Binyamini, who until recently served as VP of service at Golan Telecom and was among the founding staff of the Israeli cellular provider. The company has already rented offices in Alon Towers in Tel Aviv, but is looking for more space to house the future support center.

The company is active in more than 50 countries, where it has over 200 centers of activity. These activity centers provide its services in over 30 different languages, with one center providing a service in several different languages, in addition to the source language of the country in which it operates. The company employs over 95,000 people worldwide, and has over 1,300 customers most of whom are giant companies.

The company serves huge brands, including 55% of the top 20 companies in the annual list of Forbes Most Valuable Brands, and 4 of the 5 largest high-tech companies in the world.

The uniqueness of Webhelp’s entry into Israel is its ability to provide its services in the Hebrew language, from within Israel itself, and not from another country. The physical presence of the giant company in Israel actually brings for the first time the global gospel of outsourcing business processes to Israel. Customers in Israel, from both the private and government sectors, will now be able to receive the full Webhelp service basket, in Hebrew and from a representative that operates within Israel and not outside it.

It should be noted that Webhelp, a private French company, was established in 2000 and for the past three years has been the largest BPO company in Europe, and among the top four in the world. BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) is the outsourcing of business processes, ranging from call center management, customer service management, social media management, providing technical support, human capital management (producing pay slips and recruiting temporary and permanent employees), and providing technology services such as communications services Based on phone, video, text and the like.

BPO allows the client to concentrate and specialize in its core business (like developing new technology), and outsource the handling of anything other than core business. BPO has become a default in the last decade for giant companies from any sector, developing horizontally and vertically and outsourcing the handling of business processes, such as call center management, so that they can invest most of their time and energy in technological innovation and geographical expansion.

The operation in Israel will be established and managed, as stated, by Einat Binyamini, who in her last position established and managed the operations of Golan Telecom in Israel, which was owned by the French businessman Michael Golan until it was sold to Electra Consumer and three years later to Cellcom. Binyamini began her career at Cellcom, from which she retired as director of public inquiries. She later moved to Bulgaria to build a call center for the cellular company M-TEL and later moved to the Netherlands to build a call center for Delek Europe, a former part of Yitzhak Tshuva’s fuel group. When she returned to Israel 10 years ago, she was recruited by Michael Golan and Oren Most, then president of Golan Telecom, to establish the activities of the cellular franchisee in Israel.

One of Webhelp’s main specialties is in building efficient, dynamic, modern and employee-friendly call centers, which create a connection between the center’s employees and the brand for which they work by an innovative and colorful design. For example, on the floor of a call center of one of the car manufacturers that are among the company’s customers, a highway was painted.
