The Israeli army continues its ground invasion of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, and tightens its siege of thousands of Palestinian families in their homes, amid intensifying its air and ground raids.
Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Munir Al-Bursh, said: “Due to the ongoing Israeli bombing, more than 450 Palestinians have been killed until this moment since the start of the military operation.”
Al-Barsh added: “There are dozens of bodies in the roads, streets, and homes in Jabalia, and neither the medical teams nor the civil defense can reach them,” adding: “The Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip are being subjected to systematic extermination.”
Palestinian medical sources in the northern Gaza Strip said, “The Israeli army is besieging the Indonesian hospital in the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip, while Israeli army tanks are present at the gates and firing their shells at them and inside the square.”
Al-Bursh said, “The situation is catastrophic in the northern Gaza Strip, especially inside the hospital, where there are more than 40 patients and a number of medical staff.”
He added: “The Israeli army prevents movement inside the hospital, which prevents its workers from operating the generators. This is what caused the power outage and puts the lives of patients and hospital workers at risk of death.”
Wafa Agency reported, “At least 11 people were killed in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house in the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza,” adding that “there are still missing people under the rubble.”
The death toll from the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip rose to 42,500 Palestinians, and 99,546 others were injured.
