The Israeli Army killed a 16-year-old Palestinian this Wednesday during clashes that broke out after a military operation against the town of Yabad, southwest of the West Bank city of Jenin.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health has confirmed to the Wafa news agency the death of Omar Mahmud Abu Baker, a teenager who was shot in the chest by Israeli soldiers.
Clashes between Palestinians and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) broke out after the latter carried out a raid against the aforementioned town and during which they used lethal ammunition, tear gas and stun grenades.
In addition, the Palestinian Red Crescent has assured Wafa that it has treated three people injured by gunshots, who have been transferred to a local hospital.
Since the assault carried out on October 7 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), which left nearly 1,200 dead and some 240 kidnapped, Israeli security forces and settlers have intensified their attacks in the West Bank and East Jerusalem that have already left more than 260 Palestinians dead. In Gaza, authorities put the death toll at 16,200 as a result of the air and ground offensive.
