Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said that “the government continues international and Arab diplomatic contacts to stop Israeli attacks in Lebanon.”

According to him, “the results of the negotiations are positive so far, but one cannot count on a positive position or guarantees from the Israeli side.”

He added that from the first day of the war, an emergency committee was formed to monitor the situation in southern Lebanon. Mikati noted that the committee “continues its work to provide the maximum possible assistance to displaced persons.”

Let us recall that yesterday afternoon Israeli Defense Forces fighters struck a Hezbollah cell in Tayr Harf in southern Lebanon. This happened after terrorists fired several projectiles, including anti-tank missiles, from Lebanon. The strike hit the northern part of the Israeli city of Metula.

Israel also struck three Hezbollah targets in Yarun, Yarin and Aita al-Shab, as well as three buildings in Mays al-Jabal and Hula, the IDF said.

There were no reports of casualties from the attacks from Lebanon, but damage to a building in Metula was reported.

The IDF said fighter jets also struck a building used by Hezbollah in Kafr Kila in southern Lebanon on Thursday.

Since October, Hezbollah-led forces have attacked Israeli towns and military posts along the border almost daily. The group says it is doing this to support Gaza.

Kursor previously wrote that, according to media reports, Israel’s new tactics stunned Hezbollah and Iran terrorists.
