Shortly after 1am in Spain, unofficial information about an Israeli bombing in Tehran began circulating on social networks. “They were so loud and loud that the sky turned red,” a Tehran resident, who asked to remain anonymous, told Reuters.
At first everything was confusing. On the one hand, Tel Aviv’s response to a previous missile attack by the ayatollah regime has been awaited for weeks. On the other hand, it does not seem like an offensive on the scale announced several times by Netanyahu.
Within minutes, Iranian public television confirmed the attack, without blaming the Jewish air force, but recognizing “strong explosions both in Tehran and in the city of Karaj caused by unknown persons”.
There was no need to continue speculating. Before 01:30 in Spain, Israel confirmed “precision strikes against Iran’s capital.”
Some sources have added another attack in Damascus, Syria, of which there is no confirmation even on site.
