As Day.Az reports, in a conversation with Yenisabah.az, expert economist Natig Jafarli said that the increase in salaries and social benefits for next year will be clear:
“The President has already given instructions to increase the minimum wage and pensions in Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has also prepared an action plan in this regard and will present it in November. Probably, these issues will be considered and taken into account when adopting the budget for 2025 and we We will see the formation of a new budget received.”
The expert noted that the increase in benefits and salaries will be about 8-10 percent.
“There were general budget parameters announced by the Ministry of Finance for 2025. Looking at these figures, we see that there is a certain increase in social spending. This means that the increase in wages, pensions and minimum wage was also taken into account. But judging by the volume of figures, it is quite it is likely that growth in these areas will be about 8-10 percent,” Jafarli emphasized.
