TRENTO. Another Champions League final, the seventh. L’Itas Trentino Volley lost 3-2 to Lube last night but achieved qualification.
On the weekend of 4 and 5 May, in a venue yet to be made official, the yellow-blue Club will be able to go back in search of its fourth European Champion title ever, playing the match that awards the annual edition of the highest continental club trophy; after Prague 2009, Lodz 2010, Bolzano 2011, Krakow 2016, Verona 2021 and Ljubljana 2022, the extraordinary epic of the Via Trener club in the CEV Champions League will therefore be enriched with another stage to remember, regardless of the result that comes from it. The one to be played against the Polish side Jastrzebski Wegiel will be the seventh final ever in the most important and difficult competition at international level, the third in the last four years.
The Italian Champion team secured this new appointment with history by winning the two sets they were looking for on the eve; after losing the first partial, which despite having led for a long time in its first half, Soli’s team subsequently changed gear, becoming absolute masters of the field in the subsequent halves.
