It ⁣is evaluated that the landscape lighting, which will ⁢be lit every day from 6 ⁢PM to 6 AM the next day until the end of January next year, will also help create ⁤a warm local atmosphere during the year-end and New Year holidays.

Residents‌ said, “The area is ⁢becoming less lively due to recent population decline.⁤ We hope that by installing nighttime ‌lighting, we will create⁢ a lively street ‌atmosphere and attract many local residents.”

Jang Chan-seok, head of Hoejin-myeon, said, “I congratulate writer Han Kang on winning the Nobel Prize in Literature with all residents of the town. “I hope this will serve as an chance‍ to make hoejin-myeon widely known as the No. 1 city of Nobel literature,”⁣ he said.

Meanwhile,Jangheung-gun announced that it held a performance sharing session for the ‍’jeonnam-type youth community revitalization project’ at the Jangheung-gun Community Center on the 10th.

The ‘Jeonnam-type Youth Community Revitalization Project’ is‍ a project that strengthens the entrepreneurship capabilities of young people ‌to revitalize the region and ⁢ultimately supports them to take root in Jangheung.

On⁢ this day, about 60 people,⁢ including 8 youth community teams and heads of social organizations, attended the youth community revitalization project performance sharing meeting.

The eight youth communities selected in 2024 participated in the progress and sales of start-up items using local resources, promotion of cultural and tourism resources, and employment ⁣training for youth.

We also contributed ⁣to the development of the local community by approaching various topics, such⁤ as participating in local festivals such as the Water festival ⁣and Youth Day, and volunteering ‍for neighbors in need.

‘Jangheung Juhyang’, ⁤which was selected as the best community at this performance ⁤sharing meeting, ‌received attention for developing customary liquor using local agricultural products.

Outstanding communities include ‘Hundred Years of Spring’, which promoted enhancement of residents’ quality of life through volunteering in environmental and cultural activities, ‘Volunteer Content’, which promoted the production of goods⁤ and⁣ regional promotion using local ⁤tourism resources, and documenting and promoting local resources. A total of 5 teams were selected, including ‌’Reed Boxja’ and ‘Seungmo’s’, ⁣which mentored young people in the process of acquiring baking certification.

The county is reviewing ways to connect with shared kitchens⁣ in‌ the Saturday Market and the Jangheung-gun Agricultural Products Processing Support Center so that youth communities can be ⁢maintained and expanded‍ rather than ⁢a one-time event.

we plan to recruit more than five teams next year and⁤ support ⁢them‍ in various fields so that they can develop as regional leaders in the ⁣future.
