The Jangheung-gun Mushroom Industry Research Institute is carrying out a project to support the commercialization of fungal bio and health materials and is building the country’s only facility capable of producing fungal materials in the Jangheung Bio-Food Industrial Complex.
The ‘Fungal Bio and Health Materials Commercialization Support Center’,which is scheduled to be completed in June 2025,is a HACCP certified facility that carries out a series of processes for producing materials such as culturing,extraction,drying,and grinding of useful mushroom mycelium such as shiitake,sage,wood ear,and cauliflower mushrooms. We can apply and plan to obtain GMP certification in the future.
