Tokyo: Japan announces full support for Taiwan after US Former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who attended a meeting of thinkers in Taiwan, clarified Japan’s position on the issue. China’s armed movement against Taiwan is tantamount to moving towards Japan. Abe made it clear that all issues that arise in Taiwan apply to Japan as well. Japan has issued an indirect warning to China following Japan’s decision to increase its missile capabilities to five times its current capacity. Japan has decided to launch a defensive deployment that will destroy enemy targets at a distance of a thousand kilometers.
