Japanese Man, 83, Becomes World’s Oldest To Sail Solo Across Pacific

Kenichi Hori of Japan holds the record for being the oldest person to cross the Pacific Ocean alone. Hori, 83, left San Francisco, California, two months ago. Arrived in Key Strait in western Japan yesterday morning. Hori’s journey was without hands. Hori was also the first person to cross the Pacific Ocean on a lone boat.
