‘Makal’ is a new movie starring Jayaram. Jayaram’s daughter Malavika is the reason behind the name of the film directed by Sathyan Anthikkad. Actor Jayaram himself revealed this. Jayaram says that Sathyan Anthikkad adopted the name after seeing his daughter introducing Malavika.
Jayaram says it is too late to name Sathyan Anthikkad movies. Not intentionally. Name it deliberately. I asked on the last day of our movie. Didn’t get the name. Sathyan Anthikkad’s reply was no, nothing will be lost.
That day my daughter came to see the shooting. Many families came to see the shoot because the mole came. When they asked who was with me, I said it was my daughter. Sathyan Anthikkad also heard it.
Then Sathyan Anthikkad came to me and said. This is our title, ‘Daughter’. He named the film after a father proudly introduces his daughter to the public. Jayaram said that is how his daughter was born. Jayaram was speaking as part of the promotion of the film ‘Radhe Shyam’.
