According to Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, the ‘Kimchi Sharing of Love’ event was held at the Wanju Regional Self-Reliance Center (Center Director Kim Jin-wang) on the 13th with the participation of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Governor Kim Kwan-young and about 150 Jeonju-Wanju social workers.
For this event, social workers from Jeonju and Wanju gathered together to make kimchi using 1,500 heads of cabbage to help underprivileged neighbors have a warm winter. These kimchi will be delivered to about 600 households in welfare blind spots, including the elderly living alone, single-parent families, and low-income families, as well as food bank recipients.

Meanwhile, Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province newly selected 27 products with excellent quality among various products produced by small and medium-sized enterprises in the province as provincial governor-certified products.
On the 13th, Jeonbuk Self-Governing Province awarded certificates for 27 products from the ‘2025 Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Governor Certification Products’ newly selected this year in the provincial office’s conference room with about 50 people, including Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs Kim Jong-hoon and company representatives, in attendance.
By sector, there are 5 agricultural and livestock products, 18 traditional and processed foods, and 4 industrial products. By region, there are 3 in Jeonju, 6 in Gunsan, 3 in Iksan, 3 in Jeongeup, 2 in Namwon, 1 in Gimje, 2 in Wanju, 2 in Jinan, 2 in Imsil, and 3 in Gochang. The product has been selected.
The 27 selected products will be certified for three years from January 2025 to December 2027, and certified companies will be awarded certificates and certification plaques, and support sales promotions through opening stores on online platforms.
