People magazine named Hollywood actor John Krasinski the Sexiest Man Alive. The honoree is surprised.
The American John Krasinski is the “Sexiest Man Alive” of 2024 for the US magazine ”People”.
It seems that the actor himself was surprised that he was chosen of all people. The 45-year-old told the magazine that at first he blacked out and couldn’t think of anything but “that I might be taken for a fool.”
His British wife, Hollywood star Emily Blunt, is very happy with her husband’s new title. “I was so happy when I told her,” Krasinski said. The two have been married since 2010. The couple have two daughters, ten-year-old Hazel and seven-year-old Violet.
Between 2005 and 2013, Krasinski became known to a wide audience for his role as an office worker in the popular comedy series “The Office”.
The film producer and screenwriter directed the horror film “A Quiet Place” in 2018 and can also be seen on screen as the main characters with his wife Blunt. In 2020 he will write the sequel (“A Quiet Place II”) and direct again.
People magazine has presented the award every year since 1985. In its 39-year history, four men have received the title twice: Richard Gere, George Clooney, Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt.
