Renault has confirmed that its global manager of the industrial area and president-general director of Spain and Portugal, José Vicente de los Mozos will leave the company on January 15, 2023.
De los Mozos, a figure associated with the Spanish automotive sector and the brand for the past 38 years of his professional career, which has occurred almost exclusively within the French group since he began working at the Valladolid factory when he entered as an apprentice at 16 years in 1978.
Since then, his rise has been meteoric, reaching positions of maximum trust under the mandate of the former CEO of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, carlos ghosnalways linked to the most industrial area of the consortium.
After the arrival in 2020 of the current CEO at Renault, luca de meoJosé Vicente de los Mozos becomes the head of production of the French group, a fundamental task for the Renaulution strategic plan in which the manufacturer set itself the objective of attacking the electric car segment and the private channel to return to the positive results.
