Josh Duhamel and wife Audra Mari are thrilled to announce that they are expecting their first child together. The couple, who tied the knot in late September 2022 in Fargo, North Dakota, shared the exciting news on their Instagram pages, accompanied by an image of Audra’s sonogram.
Audra captioned the post, saying, “Baby Duhamel coming soon,” along with a white heart emoji. In the picture, she can be seen proudly holding up the sonogram images with her hand. This joyous news comes alongside the fact that Josh already has a 10-year-old son, Axl, from his previous marriage to singer Fergie.
Josh and Audra’s love story began in October 2019 when they were first spotted together sharing a passionate kiss in Toronto. They got engaged in January 2022, with Josh revealing the news on his social media by posting a photo of a message in a bottle that asked Audra to marry him. The handwritten letter inside read, “Audra Diane Mari, Will You Marry Me?”
Their wedding took place on the rooftop of the Jasper Hotel in Fargo, followed by a celebration at a local tavern called Duffy’s. The couple couldn’t be happier to embark on this new chapter of their lives together, as they eagerly await the arrival of their little one.
As for Josh’s previous marriage to Fergie, they began dating in 2004 and got engaged in 2007. They welcomed their son Axl in August 2013 but sadly announced their separation in 2017 after eight years of marriage. Fergie filed for divorce in May 2019, and it was finalized on November 22, 2019.
In a December 2018 interview with Dax Shepard on the Armchair Expert podcast, Josh expressed his desire to have more children. He mentioned that, at 45 years old, he wanted to have more kids in the next few years and find someone young enough to start a family with.
