“During the holidays I reflected and talked with my family. Last night, at dinner, I shared the decision with my children which I share with all of you,” Justin Trudeau declared to the media.
After almost ten years in office, Canada will once again have to look for a new Prime Minister. This resignation occurs in the middle of a crisis within the Liberal Partyas well as a rejection of his government by public opinion.

Justin Trudeau also decided prorogue Parliament until March 24. In addition, the work of the Chamber, which was to resume on January 27, will be suspended until the end of March.
