Juventus transfer market, revolution at Juventus: the club changes its skin and objectives with the new couple Arrivabene – Cherubini for the sports area

The one that has just ended was a difficult season for Juventus despite winning the Italian Cup and the Italian Super Cup. The bianconeri qualified only on the last day for the next edition of the Champions League and have therefore decided to completely revolutionize the plans for the sporting part. Massimiliano Allegri replaces Andrea Pirlo in the role of coach while Fabio Paratici’s contract has not been renewed. His right arm was promoted to the role of sporting director, Fabio Cherubini.

The news does not end here, Maurizio Arrivabene, director of Scuderia Ferrari until January 2019, will assume the role of CEO of Juventus and will have responsibility for all areas (football, commercial and finance).

Arrivabene to Juve: the last time with former Ferrari the team did not qualify for the cup

In terms of superstition, Arrivabene’s arrival in black and white does not come under the best of auspices. The last time a Ferrari executive moved to Juventus, in 1990 with Luca Cordero di Montezemolo in the role of executive vice president, things did not go very well. At the time Luigi Maifredi, personally chosen by Montezemolo, sat on the bench of the Turin club, and the season ended with the defeat in the Italian Super Cup against Napoli and a seventh position in the league. Juventus therefore did not qualify for the Champions Cup after 28 consecutive participations.

Arrivabene – Cherubini: how Juventus are changing also on the market

How does the Juventus transfer market change with the new Arrivabene couple – Cherubini and Allegri on the bench? According to the latest rumors, Giorgio Chiellini could renew the contract with the return of the Livorno coach and Cristiano Ronaldo should also be confirmed. Meanwhile, Juventus have renewed Alvaro Morata’s loan and appear to have given up on the track leading to Gigio Donnarumma, who could end up at Paris Saint Germain. In midfield, the aim is to purchase Manuel Locatelli from Sassuolo for the role of director. The alternative is the return of Miralem Pjanic from Barcelona.
