The Saudi Jeddah Ittihad team, led by its Argentine coach Marcelo Gallardo, decided to move in the final days of the current winter transfer period in order to support its attack with a new element from European stadiums.
Although Al-Ittihad has a group of stars on the front line, such as Frenchman Karim Benzema and Moroccan Abdel Razzaq Hamdallah, it does not want to be limited to them for the remainder of the season.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Al-Ittihad had sent a verbal offer to Juventus to include one of its players.
He pointed out the dean’s desire to sign 20-year-old Matthias Sule for about 30 million euros.
He added: “The negotiations began with a meeting in Dubai last week, to discuss the possibility of the player moving to the Roshan League title holder.”
Romano stressed that the final decision rests with the player himself, who is more likely to stay with Frosinone, who is loaned to him from Juventus until the end of the current season.
