“Hello, I’m Kamen Vodenicharov and I’m at Fort Lauderdale Airport – one of the two airports that operate, along with Miami International Airport, from which it is possible to depart from Florida.

You know, tonight the hurricane is expected to hit with tremendous force from the Gulf of Mexico to all of Florida – a corridor of hundreds of kilometers with many populated areas. And most likely St. Petersburg and Tapma will be the cities that will bear the brunt of this terrifying cyclone”. This is what actor Kamen Vodenicharov tells BNT.

The actors managed to evacuate, thanks to the efforts of the Bulgarian community in Florida.

“Yesterday, a distance of 90 miles – as much as from Stara Zagora to Burgas, we traveled for more than 4 and a half hours. Everywhere there are people evacuating, both south here to Miami and north in the other states. Really for a hundred years, this hurricane is expected to be terrifying. Fingers crossed that everything with our compatriots will be fine.”

“We’re flying north, hopefully in about an hour and a half, to continue our Masters of Comedy tour,” says the TV host.

Georgi Mamalev, Toncho Tokmakchiev and Kamen Vodenicharov are in the USA and Canada to present their show “Masters of Comedy”. Over the course of a month, they will tour 10 cities in the United States and 3 in Canada. The performance has no plot, it is made up of comic dialogues and monologues soaked in songs by the three actors.
