The air control team that responded to the emergency cited by Telemundo Los Angeles reported that it was a private plane identified as Gulfstream IV that took off from Burbank airport, located in the southeast of Los Angeles. According to preliminary indications, its apparent destination was San Luis Talpa, in El Salvador. The emergency allegedly arose due to smoke in the cabin; 14 people were traveling on the plane, including family members and friends. In addition, it was mentioned that the aircraft had fuel for 5 hours of flight.
