Karpowership affair: “We signed a 5-year contract with SEEG”

DIG/ In an⁣ exclusive interview granted ​to the daily union, Zeynep ‍harezi Yilmaz, Director‍ of Commercial Operations‌ at ‍Karpowership International, ⁤revealed the ⁤outlines of the signing of ‌the contract between the Turkish multinational and⁣ the Gabonese State.

Despite the backpedaling ⁢of​ the government, ⁣which announced the​ suspension of the contract, according to her, the solution proposed by her company is beneficial in terms of costs, profitability and ⁢sustainability for ‍Gabon.

Indeed, she maintains, wiht 25 years of experience​ in the sector, Karpowership is currently ⁢the only company in ⁣the world ​that ⁤owns, operates and builds ⁤a fleet of 40 Powerships —⁣ floating power plants offering a⁣ fast, economical and reliable alternative for‍ electricity supply.

“Karpowership signed​ a five-year contract with the national​ energy company, Société d’Énergie et d’Eau du Gabon (SEEG), on May 9, 2024,⁤ to ‍provide up to 150 MW of reliable power generation and ⁤flexible thanks⁣ to its innovative floating ⁣power plant⁢ solutions.
