Ponni’s Selvan is an epic film directed by Mani Ratnam. Produced by Leica Productions in association with Madras Talkies, the film is composed by AR Rahman.
It stars Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Prakash Raj, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Lakshmi and many more. The first part of Ponni’s Selvan is based on the 10th century power struggle of the Chola dynasty and the violent split between the emperor’s heirs.
It is an adventure story in which brave warriors, cunning spies and conspirators all try to conquer the Chola Empire. One of the most anticipated films of this year, the film is set to release on September 30, 2022.
