On Saturday 5 October, the final of “The Voice Kids” was to be decided between Louis, Coline, Tim and April. But there was another highlight of the evening: Kendji Girac‘s first televised appearance since a self-inflicted gunshot wound last April.

The “If only” singer was invited to make a new title when he returns to this episode and speaking to his fans talking about his discomfort. He came on stage wearing a white shirt. The recording showed the highlights of his career, since he was revealed in “The Voice” in 2014, then Kendji Girac sat behind a piano to sing, surrounded by candles. “The 10 years have passed in the blink of an eye and at the same time, I am lucky that my audience has followed me…” thanked the 28-year-old artist. Not a word, however, about his injury.

“Looking forward to living… great moments with you all,” he then told his Instagram followers.

And the winner is…

As for the winner of the 10th season of “The Voice Kids”, it is 13-year-old Tim. Candidate Lara Fabian succeeds Durel. During the evening, he performed “Qui a le Droit” as a duet with Patrick Bruel, ending his performance in tears and causing great emotion. “This song means a lot to me, it’s part of my story. I don’t know my father, it’s something that bothers me to sing it, it’s a lot of emotions, I wanted to say thank you for writing this song, thank you to everyone,” said he.
