Thiruvananthapuram: Kovid is tightening its controls in the capital city of Kovid. The hospital has been included in the C category under the statistical control of patients in Thiruvananthapuram district. In addition, it was decided to include eight districts namely Kollam, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Wayanad, Idukki, Palakkad, Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta in the B category.

Educational institutions will be closed for two weeks if attendance is less than 40 per cent. The Kovid review meeting decided to close the institution as a cluster for two weeks if the attendance of students for three consecutive days in schools and colleges is less than 40 per cent.

One of the parents of a child with cerebral palsy or autism will be allowed to work through the work-from-home system.

In the state, 83 per cent people were given the second dose of vaccination. But Kasaragod, Malappuram, Palakkad and Idukki districts are below the state average. The state average for child vaccination is 66 percent. However, the average vaccination average in Ernakulam, Idukki, Malappuram and Thiruvananthapuram districts is lower than the state average.

Districts below the state average for child vaccination and second-dose vaccination should undergo a special vaccination drive.

The Chief Minister directed the Health Department to provide facilities in all districts for Kovid patients in need of dialysis. Dialysis facilities should be increased as per the requirement of the districts. The Chief Minister suggested that the declining number of employees appearing for work in the Secretariat should be examined.

The training program for Rapid Response Teams (RRTs) was jointly organized online by the Department of Health and the Department of Local Self Government. R. R. About 60,000 people, including T members and the general public, attended the training.

Kovid should call the private hospital authorities who do not admit patients. It is better to do the tests depending on the maximum number of labs. It has been noticed that self-test at home without training often leads to erroneous results.

The Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary to set up a parallel system as the e-office system in the Secretariat will be upgraded from 25th to 30th.
