Chennai: Actor Rajinikanth has given a new explanation about the reason why he did not enter politics. He also said that it is laughable to see those who deny that God does not exist.
Actor Rajinikanth spoke as a special guest at the program organized by a private foundation at the Chennai Music Academy. Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu was the Chief Guest. Actor Rajinikanth spoke on the program and said, “I had a kidney problem. I was taking serious treatment for it. It was during that period that I planned to enter politics. Unexpectedly, the second wave of corona spread started then and it was gradually increasing. I have said that I will join politics. There is no going back from that decision.
Then my doctor warned me that you should not meet public or go for campaigning. He said that even if you go, you should stand 10 feet away and people should wear what they like. I wondered how I could campaign by staying away from people, how I could be without meeting people. That’s the time since the Corona peak. So I was thinking a lot. If I say this out loud, they will say ‘Rajini is scared of politics’. When he told this to the doctor, he said, ‘I will tell whomever I want to tell.’ Only after that, I said that I am not joining politics.
