NASA, the American space agency, releases new images every day related to astronomy. In that regard, NASA recently shared a photo of a rare event.

In it, all the planets of our solar system were visible from Earth at the same time. Known as the ‘Planet Parade’, the planets Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn can be seen simultaneously. Such planetary alignments are an astronomical rarity.

During this event, many planets can be seen in the sky with the naked eye. This scene was released by NASA as an astronomical image on the 2nd. Titled Planet Parade After Sunset, the image shows several planets including Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Saturn and Mercury shining against a purple evening sky.

This photo, which features all the planets of the solar system like Mars, Uranus, Jupiter, Neptune, Saturn, Mercury and Venus at the same time, is going viral on the internet.

The image, taken by astronomer and photographer Dunk Tessel, also features some bright stars.
