Kochi : The news of Kochu Preman’s death has brought grief to the Malayalam film industry. Malayalam cinema as a whole has been saddened by the demise of the actor who made us laugh with his unique speaking style and humor. Prominent stars also paid their respects on the death of the beloved actor. Actor Mohanlal wrote on his social media page that Kochu Preman’s departure is causing him immense loss.
Mohanlal said that he had a relationship with the actor who made Malayalees laugh and think since his college days. Kochu Preman’s departure has created a clear loss for him. Mohanlal wrote in his social media post that the last time they acted together was in the movie Aarat.

Kochupreman died today Saturday at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. The actor was admitted to the hospital due to physical problems. He was 68 years old. He has done many roles in movies as a comedian. He is coming to cinema from drama. Acted in several plays in Kerala theaters and Venjaramoodu Sanghachetana. Coming to the movie Seven Colors Colors. Later, Rajasenan became a leading comedian through films. He acted in about 250 films. Kochupreman’s full name was KS Premkumar. His wife is actress Girija Preman and his only son is Harikrishnan. The funeral is tomorrow at 12 noon.
