Korea Environment Corporation (Chairman Byeong-ok Ahn) under the Ministry of Environment will run a public relations center with young start-ups at the ‘2024 Korea ESG Eco-Friendly Exhibition’ held at COEX (Gangnam, Seoul) for three days from the 10th to the 12th.
The ‘ESG Eco-Friendly Exhibition’, hosted by the Ministry of Environment, is an environmental exhibition with the longest history in Korea and is a green industry business platform where the government, overseas public buyers, companies, and the public gather in one place.
Among the target companies for the ‘Environmental Youth Startup Support Project’, the Corporation selected five excellent companies that wish to participate in the eco-friendly competition and provided promotional materials and all costs worth approximately 24 million won, including participation fees, to ensure sustainable growth and expansion of sales channels for these companies. Full support was provided for production, etc.
The ‘Environmental Youth Entrepreneurship Support Project’ is a project in which the Corporation will utilize the capabilities of environmental specialized organizations starting in 2020 to provide growth subsidies (up to 11 million won per company) to promote innovative growth of young entrepreneurs in the environmental field and create private jobs, as well as to provide specialized training in the environmental field. This is a project that supports knowledge and technology mentoring.
Every year, the Corporation supports participation in the ‘Korea ESG Eco-Friendly Exhibition’ exhibition by young start-ups in the environmental field, and this year, it further strengthened sales support by expanding the scale of support from 3 to 5 places.
This year’s five supporting companies are ▲ New Alternative (development of bio-solid fuel), ▲ Laonde Company (manufacturing of upcycling pet clothing), ▲ Lobigos (provision of vehicle carbon emission optimization analysis system), and ▲ Sovement (cigarette butt collection). management system provided), and ▲Global (vegan dessert manufacturing and sales).
