The company highlighted the importance of conserving the habitat of pollinators such as bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, beetles, bumblebees y bats, that participate in the reproductive cycle of more than 80% of plants worldwide.

In Mexico, according to data from the Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADER), 88% of the crops consumed, such as mango, chili, tomato, beans and pumpkin, depend on these species.

In collaboration with volunteers from their companies and the Pablo Landsmanas Foundation, Kosmos Corporate carried out reforestation work in urban areas, planting species such as bridal veil, cigarette and clivia, that favor pollinators.

The company warned about the threat that pollinators face due to the loss of their habitats and the excessive use of pesticides.
