The Committee for Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Work of the Kostroma City Administration informs about the successful performance of our basketball players in the first round of the open championship of the Yaroslavl Region “Golden Ring – Junior”.
Competitions among youths born in 2006-2007 were held on October 23-24 in Yaroslavl; teams from Yaroslavl, Ukhta, Rodnikov, Vologda and Kostroma took part in them.
Kostroma at the tournament was represented by the pupils of the sports school of the Olympic reserve №2 under the guidance of coach Natalia Bursikova. And presented in the most worthy form – taking the first place at the end of the first round and receiving the title of the best player – the captain of the Kostroma team Nikita Skvortsov was recognized as him.
