Krishnapriya (24), daughter of Shaji and Anitha, died yesterday while undergoing treatment at Thampalakkad rock. Krishnapriya lost consciousness on January 29 after giving birth to twins at a private hospital in Muvattupuzha. Krishnapriya, who is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Aluva, has been raising money for her treatment.
Krishnapriya’s husband Muvattupuzha Ayavana Palanilkumparampil Praveen was working as a driver in the family. After giving birth to twins, Krishnapriya fainted the next day. Doctors say the infection caused low blood pressure, septic shock and affected the function of various organs.
Shaji’s father, who used to work in the crusher, is unable to work due to severe shortness of breath. The family is supported by their mother Anita who raises cows. Brother Ananthu is unable to continue his studies after Plus One. Krishnapriya’s funeral will be held at 3 pm today at the Thampalakkad home premises.
