Chandigarh: BJP MLA Krishnalal Panwar, who won the election from Israna assembly seat in Haryana‘s Panipat district, resigned from the Rajya Sabha on Monday. Panwar submitted his resignation to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar. Panwar said that he is starting a new innings in Haryana after being elected MLA from Israna. After resigning, Panwar said that this is a rule, following which he has resigned from the membership of Rajya Sabha. Now he has been elected as MLA in Haryana Assembly. On speculations about making him a minister, Panwar said that the party has always given him respect.
