Kyrgyzstan stands for a fair and non-discriminatory international economic order.
According to Day.Az, the President of Kyrgyzstan said this Sadyr Japarovspeaking at the first plenary session of the XVI BRICS summit in the BRICS plus format in Kazan.
“Kyrgyzstan stands for a fair and non-discriminatory international economic order, universal access to the benefits of the world economy and modern technologies. Foreign trade should fully serve the goals of sustainable development. I am convinced that the development of alternative mechanisms for BRICS cross-border payments, new financial instruments using digital opportunities , improving the payment infrastructure will contribute to the growth and efficiency of trade on a regional and global scale,” Japarov said.
According to the President, Kyrgyzstan is interested in cooperation with the New Development Bank in the framework of financing infrastructure projects and sustainable development projects, both in the BRICS states and in other developing countries and hopes that its role will only increase in order to eradicate poverty, develop infrastructure and increasing resilience to global challenges.
“We are ready to share with interested participants and partners of the BRICS plus/outreach format our experience in the development of digitalization and infrastructure projects, the transition to a green economy,” Japarov said.
