Laika Subhashkaran’s important meeting with Sri Lankan President Ranil.. Important talk about Tamil prisoners?

Renowned businessman and film producer Subhashkaran has met Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe. Laika is a leading production company in Tamil cinema. Lyca, which has produced films like Rajinikanth’s 2.0, Durbar, Ponni’s Selvan, which released in Anmai and collected collections, is also producing Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2.

Its founder Subashkaran is from Sri Lanka. In this case, Subhashkaran met Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe in Colombo yesterday and held important talks. It is said that Subhashkaran requested President Ranil to release the Tamil political prisoners who have been in the country’s jails for a long time, and the Sri Lankan government accepted it and released 8 Tamil prisoners through amnesty and 4 people on the basis of the court decision.

Thanking President Ranil for this, Subashkaran also insisted on the release of the remaining Tamil political prisoners. President Ranil is said to have promised that the government will release more prisoners for the coming Thai Pongal.

Political stability and economic progress in the Northern and Eastern provinces were also discussed during the meeting. Subhashkaran gave Rs.25 lakhs each to the prisoners on behalf of Laika Gnanam Foundation considering the livelihood of the freed Arashi.
