Company CEO Elon Musk announced via a tweet that a translation feature will be added to help people in other countries understand tweets that go ‘viral’ in multiple languages. The feature will help other countries’ culture and language gain more exposure.
Twitter’s image has been tarnished by recent layoffs at the company. With this, many customers have deleted their accounts from the platform. Twitter has started introducing new features to help keep the number of users from going down after it started to take a heavy toll, including on ad revenue.
Although the new feature is announced to be coming, it may take a few months to be implemented. A few days ago, the furniture of the company was put up for online auction after the financial woes hit the company hard.
