jpnn.comNEW YORK – Band from New York, Crumb launched a new single entitled The Bug.
This song is also the opening for AMAMA’s new album which is planned to be released on May 17 2024.
Talking about the latest single, Crumb’s vocalist, Lila Ramani, revealed that The Bug is a song that has existed in the world since Crumb was first formed, the pre-‘Jinx’ era.
The origins of this song came from a motel in Nebraska, at a time when Crumb was still very new to touring.
“When we woke up, we found lots of insect bites. Feeling trapped and unable to sleep at all, I decided to go around the motel while singing which in the end became the outro part of a song,” said Lila Ramani, Friday (26 /4).
“Several years later we finally decided to record this song, and now the song has found a deeper meaning, namely the meaning of the bug itself does not have to be in the form of an insect, but the bug represents a friend, lover, or an uneasy feeling that we can find it at night,” he continued.
AMAMA is Crumb’s most liberating and touching album project.
The album combines many abstract and poetic lyrics while showing the personal, reflective side of the personnel.
