Organized annually in accordance with the internal regulations of the Chamber, the Prize aims to encourage and pay tribute to national media talents, in recognition of their individual and collective efforts for the promotion of parliamentary action, the strengthening of political participation and the consolidation of the State of institutions.
According to a press release from the House of Representatives, the Prizes awarded are the Prize of Merit, awarded to a journalist monitoring the parliamentary question, the Prize for the written press, the Prize for the electronic press, the Prize for audiovisual and the Photography Prize.
National media establishments (television, radio, agency, newspapers and electronic sites) can participate in all of the above categories.
The Prize is open to candidates of Moroccan nationality, in possession of the press card for the year 2024, having presented their applications individually or collectively as part of a working group, notes the same source.
The work must be submitted in its initial format as published in one of the national media and whose publication dates from 01/01/2023 to 12/31/2023, notes the press release. With regard to the electronic press, the works in competition must be kept at the level of the information site on which the publication appears until the announcement of the winners.
The works in competition must be submitted in five copies to the registry office of the headquarters of the Chamber of Representatives, located Avenue Mohammed V, Rabat, attached to the application form available on the website www.chambredesrepresentants.ma or sent by e -mail to the address [email protected]from 05/01/2024 to 05/31/2024.
