/ The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Wednesday that Lebanese Hezbollah had installed jamming devices on drones and spy devices in Deir ez-Zor Governorate, adjacent to the Iraqi border.

The Observatory quoted informed sources as saying, “Lebanese Hezbollah intended to install signal jamming devices for drones and spy on communications devices near Jabal al-Ruwad and Al-Tala’i Camp, at the entrance to the city of Deir ez-Zor from the western side, within areas controlled by regime forces and Iranian militias.”

The sources added, “This measure aims to disrupt drones, out of fear that sites of the Lebanese Hezbollah and pro-Iranian militias will be targeted against the backdrop of the ongoing escalation with the American forces.”

The Syrian Observatory indicated, “It is expected that similar devices will be installed in other areas, such as the city of Al-Bukamal and Al-Mayadeen.”
