CES 2025 opening keynote on the 6th
With NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang serving as the keynote speaker at ‘CES 2025’, the world’s largest IT and electronics exhibition, at least 10,000 people gathered to see him.
CEO Hwang appeared as the opening keynote speaker at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, USA ahead of CES 2025 on the afternoon of the 6th (local time).
Although CEO Hwang’s keynote was held before the official opening of CES, it attracted the attention of people around the world to the point where it was considered the best highlight of the year.
The keynote on this day was scheduled to start at 6:20 p.m., but it proved popular, with long waiting lines forming after 3 p.m.
The first floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel, the event venue, was crowded with media, industry officials and visitors from around the world waiting to enter. Family visitors with young children were also noticeable.
Around 5 p.m., the line formed so long that even if you walked around the building for more than 10 minutes, you couldn’t see the end of the line. As more people than expected, CEO Hwang’s keynote speech was delayed by more than 20 minutes from the scheduled time.
The Michelob Ultra Arena in the Mandalay Bay Convention, the event venue, has a capacity of 14,000 people, but the seats were full and so many people visited that there were quite a few people standing in the aisles.
YouTube, which was broadcast live not only offline but also online, attracted so much interest that there were about 20,000 people on the waiting list.
A company official said, “I have watched CES keynote speeches several times, but this is the first time I have seen so many people. I can feel the status of NVIDIA and Jensen Huang.”
