At approximately 3 p.m. local time, emergency responders were dispatched to a multi-unit building on rue de la République in Neulise. The fire originated in the kitchen of a ground-floor apartment occupied by a couple. Fire crews from the Neulise and Saint-Just-la-Pendue barracks arrived quickly on the scene and successfully contained the fire.
