London is now the best city in Europe for real estate investment, according to a study by Urban Land Institute and PwC of European real estate markets, cited by The Times. In second place Berlinwho was the leader last year, Paris on the third.
The study is based on a survey of 850 European real estate investors, developers, lenders and asset managers. Overall, those surveyed note that confidence in the European real estate market has grown to its highest level since 2014, with half of those surveyed believing that the level of trust, profitability and the number of employees employed in the European real estate industry will continue to grow in 2022.
It is reported that London came out ahead thanks to a more favorable combination of price-quality-profit – in the profitability index, investment properties in London outstripped properties from the cities of continental Europe immediately behind the British capital by about 1%.
